Organizations Preserving the WASP Legacy

The National WASP WWII Museum serves as the official museum dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of the Women Airforce Service Pilots. During EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, we’re honored to welcome organizations whose missions complement ours through education, outreach, and living history. Together, we offer visitors multiple ways to connect with the remarkable story of the WASP.

National WASP WWII Museum

The National WASP WWII Museum is more than a place to learn history. It is where the legacy of the Women Airforce Service Pilots is preserved, shared, and passed on to future generations. Every visit, membership, and donation helps us care for historic artifacts, protect Avenger Field, and inspire tomorrow’s aviators through education. Join us in ensuring the WASP story continues to soar.

VICTORY RED WARBIRDS

It’s not about who we are but rather who we serve. The Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) and the Tuskegee Airmen shattered barriers and dedicated themselves to excellence even when the odds were against them not only on the war front, but the home front. We are here to ensure the heritage of the WASP and Tuskegee live on through our actions as a nonprofit. We are here to build a stronger community of nonprofits and individuals who also carry on their legacies. Our mission is to help you bridge the gaps and make the lasting connections necessary for you to continue to tell the WASP and Tuskegee story.  We are here to listen, problem solve, and team up with you!

CAF Rise Above: WASP

CAF RISE ABOVE: WASP is dedicated to honoring the trailblazing Women Airforce Service Pilots of WWII for their courage and determination to serve our country, and share their story of inspiration to rise above any obstacle.

This group of heroic Americans exhibited bravery and determination in the face of many who felt that women could not do what was then considered a man’s job. Despite the obstacles and disapproval of others, these women forged ahead and served with distinction as the first women to fly Americas Military Aircraft.
